Rolf Aslaksrud Kristiansen
Chairman of the Board / Senior Researcher
Rolf holds a Dr. Scient./PhD in Education and applied science. He has worked as associate professor at University of Oslo within the fields of teacher training, research on media and teaching aids and on special education and ICT. He served as secretary, and later as vice president, of EASE, the European Association of Special Education.
From 1996 until 2007, he was director of the National Agency Leonardo da Vinci Norway hosted by the National Institute of Technology. As from 2008 being responsible for EUROMASC – European Masters of Skilled Crafts.
Working in an international setting, he promoted transfer of technology and competences from research and development fields to the enterprises. Within this context he initiated the development of systems and services for multilateral monitoring and management of Leonardo projects.
Working languages: Norwegian, English, Danish, Swedish, German and with working comprehension of French.
Tobias Aardal
Chief Operating Officer
Tobias holds a Master’s degree in Organization, Leadership and Work from the University of Oslo, with a specialization in sustainability and organizational transformation. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Innovation and Business Development, including studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
He has experience working with sustainability strategies, ESG implementation, and analysis across infrastructure and consultancy projects, with a focus on regulatory compliance and environmental impact reduction.
As COO at EUROMASC, he works with international project development, including consortium building and stakeholder engagement within EU programmes such as Erasmus+. He brings a structured and analytical approach to multinational collaboration and innovation initiatives.

Polina Aardal
Project Consultant
Polina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Philology, specialising in Arabic language, linguistics and intercultural communication. As part of her studies, she received a scholarship to attend the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), where she further advanced her Arabic proficiency and deepened her understanding of the linguistic and cultural context of the region.
Before joining EUROMASC as a Project Consultant, Polina focused on academic language studies and international cultural engagement. Her work at EUROMASC includes multilingual adaptations and translations of Skillsbank and Skillstools services, support in project implementation, documentation and communication tasks, as well as contributions to digital content and cross‑border collaboration.
Working languages: Ukrainian, English, Norwegian, Polish, Arabic, Russian and with a basic knowledge of Hebrew.
Marta Binelli
Project Consultant
Marta holds a BA in International Business and Management from the University of Reading, UK. Before joining EUROMASC as a Project Consultant, Marta worked at EF Education First within Customer Success and was responsible for operational and marketing activities.
Marta has international work experience, having worked in London and with international collegues at EF. In addition to direct project involvement and support her work includes plurilingual adaptations and translation of Skillsbank and Skillstools services, SkillsCourses e-course uploading and maintenance, website design and social media creation.

Leif Erik Erikssøn
IT Consultant
Leif Erik worked as an ICT Manager at the National Institute of Technology from 1982 to 2006, when it served as the Norwegian operator of the Leonardo da Vinci programme. In addition to his ICT responsibilities, he was actively involved in the development and implementation of digital platforms and databases, including LeoPass, Rap4Leo, MultiPass, and the Linking Up mobility programme.
Today, Leif serves as Head of Operations at NTI-MMM, where he is responsible for the operation and further development of Skillsbank and related systems, including YOMTOOL and Skillstube. As an IT Consultant at EUROMASC, he contributes technical expertise, system development, and operational support to European projects and digital learning initiatives.

Hildegunn Aas
Project Consultant
Hildegunn has extensive experience in vocational education, competence development, and lifelong learning. Throughout her career, she has worked with course development, flexible learning solutions, and initiatives focused on strengthening skills and access to education.
Before joining EUROMASC, she contributed to projects and organisations promoting quality in lifelong learning, including the Norwegian Association for Flexible Learning (Fleksibel utdanning Norge). At EUROMASC, she supports project development, educational programme design, and quality assurance activities, with a particular focus on skills development and labour market needs across Europe.
